Next time you are out in public, take a second and count how many surveillance cameras you spot while walking.  I do like to think of all the many places I've called home.  I enjoy this holiday because of the attitude of gratitude.  Seriously, don't buy shoes that hurt your feet.  Reflecting on all the little occurrences that make up 365 days passing, it amazes me how much can make up one year.  An excellent time of year. We aren't actually in winter yet but it feels like it.  The first niyama, because it feels so good to be clean and light and fresh.  Awareness can lead to compassion. Sending a heart felt thank you to a coworker of mine whose gentle considerations brought a new way of thinking to me today. Also, the square flat cap that serves as a graduation cap under the tassel is called a mortar board. I learned two things today.  It's all about ahimsa on world kindness day.  Now you know what I did today.  I had the pleasure of attending a lovely baby shower today. Here's the simple poem after a full day.  I find Celeste Barber to be a hilarious comedian.  Seriously though - who wants to use Paid Time Off when you're sick. Nobody. That's who.  |
