I had an exceptional day. I had affirmations and compliments and feel buoyed up from the kindness and love. I also had a thought about the challenge of describing people. The challenge of describing myself. So, I decided to attempt a poetry portrait of myself, in a good light. It's much, much easier to go negative, which is why I stayed positive. Maybe I got it?

Can you imagine extraterrestrial guests coming for a visit and viewing what we do here in the U.S. on February 2nd. I believe they would be mystified.
I have mentioned before that I practice an attitude of gratitude and one place that it comes very easily is when it comes to my house. It's the first home purchase and I really love it. I love home ownership - despite the surprise expenses that pop up. I love caring for something that's so long lasting. I love the decorating. I love planning the next home improvement project with my husband and bringing it to fruition. I love watching my equity build over time. In today's poem I tried to capture some of the attributes I'm grateful for in my humble abode.
